4,770 children have died from malnutrition in la Guajira in a span of 8 years, public schools in the region are not providing meals for the children who struggle to even eat once per day. We have been providing 2,560 meals every month for 128 children of the school Amuyuwou in Punta Coco. Our organization is committed to protecting the fundamental rights to The right to life, survival and development health, education and healthcare of our children.

Once we receive the donations we proceed to purchase the food in the supermarket Grupo Gran Colombia in Uribia, the Wayuu leader of the community Mauren Aguilar crosschecks the receipt with the items purchased and transports them to the port of Uribia, where we load the donations on a small boat for a 2 hour journey until we reach the improvised port of the community of Los Cocos. We make our way to the school where we store all the donations for the month.

One of out biggest accomplishments is seeing our children look healthier as the months go by and their weight increases.
